Feardemic Weekly Round-Up #2

Every now and then we have to remind ourselves that we aren’t just a publisher of horror games from indie developers – we are a cult. And every cult needs two things: cultists, and a way for them to identify each other.

The first one is you, dear player of Feardemic games. The second one could be anything: a sign, a symbol, a mark… or a t-shirt. Or a hoodie. Or a coffee mug. Or a pillow. Or… well, anything that is available in our merch store.

The Feardemic merch store

Unlike sketchy organizations, we don’t have to be secretive about our cult. And what better way to identify yourself as part of the Feardemic cult than wearing its name in plain sight?

Walk with pride into your favorite video game retailer wearing a Feardemic t-shirt! Get everyone's attention at your local grocery store by using the Feardemic shopping bag! Impress your date by covering your sofa with Feardemic pillows!

Ok, the last one was cringier than the rest. We’ll stop now. But seriously, check out our merch store and support your favorite horror community.

News from the world of horror

No, we are not talking about the latest world news — we are talking about fictional horror.

Have you heard about the Dead Space remake? While EA certainly doesn’t need our help to raise awareness of its new games, news like that cannot be ignored by anyone calling themselves horror fanatics. So watch the announcement trailer and hype up.

Moving from video games to music, goth rock/dark wave artist Cold Cave has recently released a new EP named Fate In Seven Lessons. For those who aren’t familiar with them, they are a band that has often been likened to Joy Division, The Cure, Depeche Mode, and other notable names from the early post-punk & goth rock era.

You can hear the new EP of Cold Cave now on Spotify.

Lastly, some horrific recommendations. If you are anything like us, chances are you also enjoy things like reading books or exploring cemeteries. Or reading books about cemeteries worth exploring.

That is why today we recommend ’199 Cemeteries to See Before You Die’, a great illustrated read for those who appreciate the melancholy of these places, as well as a complete guide to find your final home.
